There is a shortcut for opening a file directly to Photoshop, but it is much slower than the one at the desktop. In fact, a single step shortcut that opens to the file’s current view is available directly from the image viewer. This is especially helpful when I’m working with a large image file, because I can simply flip from the viewer to Photoshop.
